The Granby Hotel - First Edition 2008

Comment
Following TAONottm first acquiring access to The Granby,
after over ten years derelict and abandoned,
as part of THSP,
in the six years that these buidings operated fully as Station Street Studios,
they supplied creative refuge to 100s of artists;
musicians and bands, drummers, dancers,
painters, film editors, designers, animators, photographers,
crafters and milleners, woodworkers, drag artists,
and people who fix and make things,
student degree shows, selected events,
a pizza oven, the Free Shop, a book shop,
the smallest gallery, a darkroom,
Wotto's Ink, Zeros Barbers, Lush,
Kelly's Spiritual Boutique, Bden Jewellery
and the Refugee Action Group .. and maybe a few I have missed.

The buildings have now been demolished

The objects of THSP are to carry on activities for a philosophically beneficial purpose,
concerned with the regeneration of disused property in support of the creative community,
and the conservation of wild species and the natural environment through research and artistic pursuits.
